I am Jaylene!
I am from a small town in Missouri! I am married to my high school sweetheart, and a momma to the most perfect little boy. I love Jesus, music, traveling, reading, time with loved ones, laughing and making people laugh/smile is a favorite of mine! I love color, but I am also a moody gal. I am also an enneagram type 2 so please know that the special, rare and personal moments truly matter to me.
I started photography as a passion project as I saw a need in my community and I ended up falling in love with it and it took off from there. I quit my full time job, and decided to trust that God would provide for me if this is what he wanted me to be, and here we are!
My dad is truly my biggest inspiration when it comes to photography. He loves to capture us in our vulnerable raw moments. He loves the candid moments of his kids and has them literally printed everywhere in his house. It changed the way I wanted to capture things and made me a better photographer. He is also my biggest cheerleader and I am so thankful for him, his prayers and encouragement.
I just want you to know that I am more than just the girl taking your pictures, I will be your friend, your biggest hype man, I will fix your makeup when tears or sweat happens, I will help with hair if needed, I will be your problem solver, I will hold your baby, and I will make sure you don't break your ankles in heels while walking out in the middle of nowhere for great pictures! Know that YOU will be taken care of and celebrated all day long with me as your photographer....

About our sessions!
A lot of people have questions about their shoots and what to expect! I will pose you, I will choose locations for you, or you can suggest locations for me! I am always down for new things! I do not have my own props unless we are doing a prop inspired shoot! If you see something on my page from a previous session you like? Tell me! If you want to send me a mood board through Pinterest? DO IT!! I love making my clients visions come to life! Don't hesitate to tell me what you like and what you don't like! I am always down for a conversation! I am so excited to start working with you!
